KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UNF men’s basketball team earned the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award, while also having a record five student-athletes named to the NABC Honors Court as announced by the national organization Tuesday, July 27.
“It’s amazing to have the ability to coach and surround ourselves daily with young men that truly understand the term student-athlete,” head coach Matthew Driscoll said. “This group has continued our long list of historical academic achievements as individuals and as a team. The competitive drive off the court has translated completely to our success on the court, exhibiting the balance needed to achieve your potential with all talents. It proves that you truly reap what you sow!”
